Germany
When I was looking for photo's of our years in Bavaria I could see myself living there again. This was the most beautiful place we've lived so far. The Starnberger See, Germany's second biggest lake, is stunning. As if time stood still. We love skiing, so this location couldn't be better. We joined the Saturday ski days with the MIS. With 6 busses we left every Saturday morning, during the ski season, to a location in Austria. Someone told us to go in bus nr 6, this was the party bus, well a party it has been. We had a blast, each and every Saturday we went into the mountains.
Sam, our Polish golden retriever, was very lucky that he could swim every day in the lake, a 5 minute walk from our house. Piet loved walking with him. When he sat down on the stairs, sam knew it was time for a walk, he alwayssat close to Piet. We found a lovely house, not the biggest house, but a nice house, with a different levels gardens. The house was in Ammerland, this tiny little village belongs the Munsing a little village where our children played football at the local football club. Rob worked in Munich, this was one hour commute every day. When he drove back from the city, he could see the mountains and then he could forget his work a bit. We played tennis in Berg. We had a great time there. The children had tennis lessons, I played there as well. Rob played competition with 40+ men.
When we left for our new adventure in Belgium we helt our leaving party at TC Berg and the board of the tennis club made us honorary members. Very special.
