Oktoberfest in Lagos

Who would have imagined to have an Oktoberfest in Lagos. Last Saturday we went to Rebecca Court compound, this is mainly a Shell compound, where the party was helt.

They've asked to come dressed up in Dirndl and Lederhose. Luckily we've put ours in our luggage because October 6th we're going to the Wiener Wies'n for the Oktoberfest in Vienna. Of we went Saturday, first making a picture with our driver Yinka who likes to wear his Yoruba outfit.

It was so well organised with beer sponsored by Heineken, beer glasses by KLM and a butcher donated sausages. There was a buffet with salads and music was playing Oktoberfest songs. We felt at home ;-)

This was an excellent opportunity for us to meet new people. The great surprise was that we bumped into Guido Stock an Austrian we've met at a friend's house this summer in Vienna.
